Guest Relations Coordinator

This person will report directly to our Director of Guest Relations and work closely with all departments to ensure and effective and efficient guest operation.

Job requirements:

· 5 years minimum in sales/reservations in the hospitality industry.

· College degree or higher.

· Exceptional people skills over the phone.

· Great communication skills over the phone.

· A proven track record of selling—to be vetted by previous experience and employers.

· Self-starter with the drive to close the deal.

· Willingness to learn and collaborate.

· Microsoft Suite knowledge (preferred).

· Agilysys Suite or other Property Management System (preferred).

The GR #5

· Will learn all job responsibilities that relate to the GR department.

o Daily walk throughs and list making for housekeeping and maintenance.

o Hosting cocktails and working with F&B.

o Over the phone sales and property knowledge in reservations.

o Itineraries and understanding of mind body and all rec and wellness coordination.

o Office paperwork.

o Guest check in, check out.

o Payment for reservations and payments once on property.

o Gift shop cleanliness and restocking.

o Ability to write schedules.

o Front of House management / serving and bartending knowledge.
