Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical or dental offices, possess knowledge of healthcare coding, insurance verification, and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities:

- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients

- Create and present treatment plans

- Process insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims

- Coordinate with the dentist to ensure accurate billing and coding

- Maintain patient records in Eaglesoft and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines

- Assist patients with insurance-related inquiries and provide clear explanations

- Answer phones, send/respond to text and emails, and other patient communication

- Collaborate to resolve any insurance issues

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting preferred

- Strong understanding of insurance verification processes

- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures

- Familiarity with maintaining accurate dental records and scheduling in Eaglesoft

- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with patients professionally

This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, utilizing your insurance coordination skills to ensure smooth operations and patient satisfaction.
