The Goddard School - Folsom is Hiring a Business/Operations Manager Near Folsom, CA

The Goddard School of Folsom is looking for an experienced Business/Operations Manager to oversee our school's non-educational operations. Responsibilities include managing customer service, marketing, enrollment, community engagement, culture facilitator, small event coordination, facilities management, and budgeting. The Manager will also drive growth initiatives, handle recruitment, and conduct prescreening interviews.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Business Administration or related field preferred

• 2-3 years’ experience in a management position within a preschool setting preferred

• Highly effective organizational, time management and multitasking skills

• Efficiency in follow through and attention to detail

• Excellent abilities to prioritize, plan, adapt and meet deadlines

• Manage school business and facility operations effectively in line with approved budget to achieve or exceed performance targets.

• Be a self-starter and have the ability to think creatively to solve problems.

• Success in recruiting, training and retaining faculty

• Strong computer (Outlook, Excel, Word) skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills 

• High levels of professionalism, standards, dependable, commitment, motivation, energy and enthusiasm

• An advocate of professional development and teamwork 

• Demonstrate responsiveness and sensitivity to the needs of children, families and staff 

• Excellent customer service 

Main Responsibilities: 

• Work with the owners to reach targeted enrollment numbers and maintain enrollment

• Establish and maintain community relations through events and partnerships

• Plan and execute Marketing events throughout the year

• Success in Marketing and Sales related operations

• Human Relations including recruiting, onboarding, training and retaining leaders in education

• Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, employee benefits and tracking vacation and sick days.

• Establish a strong faculty and family morale in the school. Create strong relationships with families

• Create faculty schedules and complete payroll

• Attend and contribute to weekly management meetings

• Ensure a conscientious execution of the budget throughout the year, keeping close track of expense, income, maintain inventory levels in school (snack and school supplies) and budget accordingly 

• Monitor key measurable indicators of the daily operations.

• Ensure quality and consistency that adheres to The Goddard School Quality Assurance

• Management of facility and create relationship with third party vendors 

• Maintain all records and files necessary to comply with state licensing and school guidelines

• Ensure the school is presentable and is a welcoming environment

• Knowledge and understanding of educational settings, preferred

• Additional tasks and responsibilities based on the needs of the business and school owners
