Job Summary:
The Dermatology Clinic of Arkansas is searching for a Mohs Histotechnician to join our team in beautiful Hot Springs, Arkansas. We are proud to be the area's foremost skincare, laser and cosmetic practice for nearly 25 years. We have two locations in Hot Springs as well as ten satellite clinics in surrounding communities. The Histotech plays a crucial role in patient care by processing tissue samples to be read and diagnosed by the Mohs surgeon. The job entails a wide range of histology techniques including but not limited to grossing, microtomy, microscopy and staining done with a high degree of accuracy. We are seeking a candidate that has the ability to analyze, resolve, and trouble shoot day-to-day laboratory tasks as needed, as well as facilitate trouble shooting and resolution of routine technical issues. This role will assist in setting up, evaluating, and trouble shooting new techniques ,policies, and procedures and assist in the training of new lab hires.
