    Total Tire Solutions is a locally owned and operated business serving multiple locations across south Louisiana .

    As a commercial tire technician, you will be required to inspect and assess damaged or worn tires on customer vehicles, replace or repair damaged tires, and balance or rotate tires.

    You may also be required to perform roadside assistance and be on call at least once a month for your on-call week.

    To ensure success as a commercial tire technician, you should have good communication skills and be able to perform physically demanding tasks.

    You will need to be a quick learner who has the ability to receive instructions and follow our shop's procedures. Paying strong attention to detail and being dedicated to honesty, and fairness is important.

    Ultimately, an outstanding tire technician can work quickly and efficiently, while maintaining high industry standards.

    Commercial Tire Technician Responsibilities :

    • Talking to the customer about any issues they are experiencing.
    • Inspecting and assessing tire tread levels, and wear patterns.
    • Recommending appropriate repair treatment or replacement of tires.
    • Repairing punctures and replacing stems.
    • Mounting / Dismounting new tires.
    • Balancing tires and completing wheel alignment procedures.
    • Conducting inventory and maintaining equipment.
    • Conducting road-side repairs.
    • Record all work accurately and neatly on all workorders.
    • Review work orders and discuss them with service advisors as needed.
    • Comply with OSHA safety standards.
    • Be able to work in all weather conditions : heat, cold, rain, etc.
    • Notate any physical damage on vehicle.
    • Complete Vehicle Inspections
    • Participate in training.

    Commercial Tire Technician Requirements : Good communication skills. Work experience as a tire technician .

    • Attentive to detail.
    • Ability to lift heavy objects.

    • Be able to show valid drivers license.
    • Be able to pass a drug test.
