Privately held manufacturer of insulated electronic wire and cable products for Military & Aerospace high performance industrial applications, has an opening in Sales and Customer Service Representative. Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Candidate should have a proven record of growing existing accounts as well as developing new accounts. Manufacturing background a plus. Minimal Travel. Qualified candidates will possess strong sales skills in a related field as well as strong computer skills. Wire and Cable experience a plus. RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Act as main conduit for customer communications.
· Determine and understand customer requirements and communicate those customer requirements throughout the organization.
· Respond to requests for quotation from customers, follow-up on quotes and enter orders resulting from quotes.
· Review orders entered by other Sales Representatives for accuracy.
· Respond to customer requests for expedites. Communicate order status to customer.
· Participate in Corrective Action investigations and Material Review Boards resulting from customer complaints and or the production of non-conforming product.
· Maintain clear records of communications with customers.
· Minimal travel required to promote sales at customers’ locations, visit trade exhibits, etc.
· Understand and follow written procedures. Seek and communicate opportunities for improving company processes.
· Responsible for the completion of assigned duties on time.
· Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Strong interpersonal skills, good organizational skills, good oral/written communication skills, sufficient mathematical ability to calculate sales margins, etc
· 2 year of sales experience.
Job Type: Full-time Mon - Fri 8am-5pm
