Overview:
The I'On Club is currently seeking an experienced, part to full-time Pickleball Professional to join our team. The candidate must be able to provide excellent pickleball instruction for both adults and children, offer creative solutions to pickleball programming opportunities, educate members about the sport, and maintain a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for pickleball play! The candidate must also be capable of building positive relationships and providing top-notch customer service.

Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Supervise all pickleball play, as directed by Director of Racquet Sports
• Enforce facility rules and regulations of the facility, and its equipmentPlan, organize and promote a year round variety of pickleball programs, lessons, leagues, and tournaments for both adults and children
• Continue to build an active and self-sustaining pickleball program.
• Attend monthly Racquet Sports team meetings.
• To help in the coordination and supervision of various on-court activities, including but not limited to: teaching private lessons and group clinics, running socials or special events, and/or other activities the Director of Racquet Sports, Director of Operations, or General Manager determines
• Give professional opinion and or advice relating to the maintenance of the pickleball courts.
• Devote a reasonable number of hours to playing pickleball with members regardless of their ability level to promote pickleball activities and lessons
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Experience and Training Guidelines:

• Any combination of experience and training that would provide the knowledge of the sport, minimum requirement of two years of experience in the implementation, coordination and supervision of pickleball facilities and programs, and previous participatory and teaching experience in the pickleball industry.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
