Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and be dedicated to providing a nurturing and educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to stimulate children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth
- Create engaging lesson plans that incorporate various learning styles
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. High School Diploma required.
- Previous experience working with children in a school or childcare setting
- Knowledge of child welfare and development principles
- Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues effectively
- Familiarity with curriculum implementation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.77 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
License/Certification:
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
- Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
