We are re-opening our pet salon at the end of May or early June after an extensive remodel. We will be offering full service pet grooming 7 days a week and can accommodate 2 groomers per day. Clients are ready and waiting and anxious for us to schedule their appointments.

Pet Grooming Salon in Whitestown seeks experienced pet groomers. Must be very hands on, work well with a team, and enjoy customer service.

We offer great clientele, a friendly and warm atmosphere, and the opportunity to earn significant income. Our groomer will have access to a complete line of supplies and equipment. Our salon features two baths plus a walk in shower, numerous drying dens, hand dryers, plenty of cage dryers and hydraulic grooming tables. We provide a complete line of shampoos and conditioners, dental cleaning supplies, nail trimming supplies, and accessories such as ribbons, bandanas, bows, and cologne for that special touch.

We have a large, captive client base for groom appointments during resort visits as well as numerous clients to fill the grooming schedule with “outside” appointments. Let our front desk arrange and schedule your grooming appointments while you take great care of the clients and keep their pets looking their best. The opportunities and income potential are endless and it is all up to you.

Professional groomers with the willingness and skills to groom cats are definitely preferred. We have a lot of feline clients waiting for appointments. Requirements:

• A certified Pet Groomer with at least 2 years of professional pet grooming experience.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must have excellent communication skills and work well with the clients and their pets.
• Must have an excellent reputation with remarkable client satisfaction ratings.
• Must be enthusiastic about their work and ensure that the client feels great about the entire grooming experience.
• Must be comfortable selling available services and products when appropriate to improve pet health.
• Our Part-Time/Full-Time Groomer can work 1 day or up to 5 days a week. Those with weekend availability are preferred.

Responsibilities include:

• Client consultations, education, recommendations, and pet feedback
• Pet bathing and drying
• Full service grooming (clipping, trimming, styling, brushing) including our express grooming service
• Ensure each and every pet's safety, health, comfort, and well being with a strong emphasis on identifying underlying health or behavioral issues and safely managing special needs pets
• Bring your own equipment (shears, scissors, your favorite brushes and combs)
• Light cleaning of work area to keep the salon tidy, appealing, and safe
• Coordinating with resort management in monitoring salon supplies, determining restocking needs

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
