The Frazier Quarry, Inc. is currently seeking a day shift Utility Worker. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment at our stationary plant, as well as assist with preventative maintenance and repair for stationary equipment and machinery involved in the crushing and conveying of aggregate stone products. This position is part of a crew with a rotating schedule, which will entail working some Saturdays and a rotation between morning and evenings (8pm at the latest).

Successful candidate skills needed: Must have strict safety adherence, must be able to sit, stand, push, pull and drive, pass pre-employment screening, and understand and carry our written or verbal instructions. Regular and reliable attendance is a requirement. High School diploma or GED and a valid state driver’s license required.

Essential Functions

• Commit to hold safety as a value.
• Properly follow company and MSHA safety procedures.
• Primarily responsible for general clean-up surrounding the stationary plant.
• Detects and reports defective or questionable safety conditions to the Maintenance Manager or Safety Manager.
• Assist with repairing ancillary equipment, such as screens and conveyors.
• Cross training opportunities available with Plant Mechanics.
