Supply Chain Manager, Manufacturing

Our client, a global glass manufacturer, is hiring a Supply Chain Manager for their Bellefontaine facility. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this Manager will be the catalyst behind a dynamic supply chain operation that keeps production running smoothly.

You'll lead the development and implementation of strategic inventory and logistics policies, analyze data to optimize material flow, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely material availability, production uptime, and minimized costs.

General Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement strategic inventory and logistics policies using best practices.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely material availability, production uptime and minimized costs.

· Analyze data and material use to optimize material flow.

· Work closely with suppliers to establish strong relationships and ensure excellent customer service.

· Lead process improvement initiatives while supporting a culture of continuous improvement.

· Oversee and champion the effective use of SAP to maintain and process optimization.

General Requirements:

· 5 years of manufacturing materials management.

· 3 years supervisory experience.

· 3 years of planning & scheduling.

· Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or related area.

· SAP at an intermediate or advanced level required.

· CPIM or CSCP preferred.

· Strong understanding of inventory management principles.
