The Homestead PCH is Hiring an Administrator Near Madisonville, KY

The Homestead pch is a freestanding 64 bed personal care home located in Madisonville Kentucky. We are currently accepting resumes for facility administrator.

The proper candidate should have:

- at least two years work experience as either administrator or assistant administrator in a pch or skilled nursing facility or three years as DON or charge nurse at a skilled nursing facility

- a sound understanding of all departments in a LTC facility (i.e. medications, housekeeping, dietary, medical records, maintenance, nurse aid, etc…)

- ability to interact and engage governing bodies as the need arises (i.e. OIG, DCBS, ACT team, etc…)

- mental capacity to track resident payor sources and maintain monthly records to ensure room & board plus resident personal funds have been received, plus distribute said personal funds to residents on a monthly basis

- ability to review incoming referrals for potential residents, make a determination and reply promptly to individual requesting placement (i.e. discharge planner, social worker, etc…)

- an understanding of Microsoft Office, namely Word and Excel

- ability to manage/supervise 15-20 employees, as well as recruit, hire and terminate employees accordingly. Plus create a work schedule for employees

- be able to delegate tasks and follow up to ensure completion

- friendly demeanor when interacting with residents and peers

- intrinsic motivation to resolve issues without having to be constantly overseen

- on call availability

Duties
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the facility, ensuring the highest level of care and services are provided to residents
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Coordinate and supervise staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Conduct assessments to determine individual care needs and develop personalized care plans
- Monitor resident health and well-being, coordinating with healthcare professionals as necessary
- Maintain accurate resident records and documentation
- Handle financial responsibilities
- Collaborate with families and residents to ensure their needs are met and concerns are addressed

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Social Work, Nursing Home Administration) preferred
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a healthcare or assisted living setting
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents, families, and staff members
- Financial acumen to handle budgeting and financial responsibilities
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
