Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Aide to join our team at The Gardens. The Gardens is a skilled nursing facility that is dedicated to both the employee experience and elevating the care of the residents we serve. The ideal candidate will assist physical therapists in providing care to patients and support the overall functioning of the physical therapy department.
Responsibilities:
- Support physical therapists in executing treatment plans for patients.
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities.
- Set up equipment and prepare treatment areas for therapy sessions.
- Monitor and report patient progress to the supervising therapist.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the therapy area.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients during therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Familiarity with medical terminology.
- Experience or interest in orthopedics, acute care, occupational health, or hospital medicine.
