BASIC FUNCTION:
The Sales & Marketing Manager is an enthusiastic, self motivated team player with a focus on developing innovative marketing strategies, cultivating client relationships, and enhancing the company's visibility in the social media and marketing realms. The primary responsibility of the Sales & Marketing Manager is to drive the company's growth, deliver outstanding customer service, and support client needs. Collaborating closely with the Director of Operations, the Sales & Marketing Manager will work to achieve strategic goals, maximize profit margins, and ensure a top-level experience for clients, partners, and staff members while strategically positioning the company in the competitive landscape of the social media and marketing world.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Actively contribute to all social media and marketing campaigns, promotions, and day-to-day maintenance.
· Identify diverse consumer requirements to effectively recognize marketing opportunities.
· Research and capitalize on various marketing opportunities to enhance product marketability and profitability.
· Anticipate new opportunities to maintain relationships with key clients.
· Gather, investigate, and summarize data and trends to provide accurate information.
· Conceptualize, promote, advertise, and market space to potential clients.
· Ensure that company milestones/goals are met and adhere to approved budgets.
· Play an active role in achieving the highest levels of guest satisfaction.
· Communicate and collaborate with clients from various backgrounds, ethnicities, and budgets.
· Conduct client tours.
· Execute sales for a variety of event types (weddings, corporate, social), including proposals and invoicing.
· Articulate ideas to improve services and event quality effectively.
· Cultivate and maintain effective, long-lasting business relationships with local vendors and the community.
· Attend relevant wedding shows, trade fairs, exhibitions, and networking events.
· Conduct oneself in a responsible and professional manner at all times.
· Perform other duties as directed by management that are consistent with this job description.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Prior experience in sales, marketing, social media.
· Preferred experience in event sales, catering, hospitality, and weddings, preferably in a leadership role.
· Excellent time management and communication skills.
· Ability to build productive business relationships.
· Proficient in managing multiple projects independently.
· Contribute to creating a positive environment for clients and staff members.
· Keen attention to detail & self starter.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
· Experience using event temple or any event/venue management software (Preferred).
· Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).
