Apprentices are vital to the ongoing growth of our company. The long-term value of an apprentice is the work they will sell and perform as a licensed tech. While benefiting from world-class training, the immediate value of an apprentice is to help the Licensed Tech move quickly through jobs. Apprentices can have a great effect on company culture and morale, and should strive to use that influence to improve the performance of the entire team. Apprentices also assist with shop responsibilities and inventory as needed.

Responsibilities:

1. Show extreme attention and engagement in all company meetings & trainings.
2. Be actively involved in cleaning the truck, re-stocking materials, and preparing for jobs at the shop each morning.
3. Assist tech with protecting surfaces and preparing tools/materials in the home when work is sold.
4. Facilitate the lead tech’s work by feeding him the tools and parts needed.
5. Ask a lot of questions to draw as much information as possible from the lead tech.
6. Take charge of keeping the work area clean and quickly get tools and materials back to the truck as the job is nearing completion.

1. As experience increases, begin completing more and more tasks alone and gathering tech initials in the plumbing skill book verifying the completed tasks.

1. Take all safety precautions by utilizing all proper safety tools/equipment while performing your work (including safe driving practices).
2. Study the assigned material in the Modern Plumbing textbook and achieve test scores that prove comprehension of the material.
3. Purpose to be positive energy for the team, staying upbeat and energized regardless of the obstacles or circumstances.
4. Work hard to gain the respect of lead techs, management, and fellow apprentices.
5. Master the knowledge and execution of all company processes, scripts, and protocol.
