Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated EFDA and/or Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for patient care.

Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Perform dental charting and documentation
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
- Perform dental receptionist duties as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of EFDA program for EFDA positon
- Current certification in Dental Radiology
- Knowledge of medical coding and HIPAA regulations
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and terminology
- Proficiency in using dental software systems (e.g., dentrix)
- Familiarity with infection control protocols
- Ability to take accurate vital signs
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques (e.g., digital radiography)
