Superior Industrial Equipment is a full service regional distributor of pumps, vacuum pumps, blowers, and mechanical seals. We have two locations, one in Sycamore, IL and one in Grimes, IA. Our team of factory trained Sales engineers and Customer Service personnel provide new equipment, aftermarket sales support, factory authorized repairs, field service, and engineering. We also manufacture single pump and integrated multi-pump skid packages with controls, instruments, piping, valves, and tanks.

Role Description

Duties include preparing proposals, design and project engineering of packages, customer service, technical support, and supplier development, all in support of outside Sales Engineers. Major responsibilities are proper application of equipment, managing proposals, managing projects, and design of packages. BS degree in engineering is required. Possible future position in technical sales.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices
• Experience with troubleshooting and problem solving
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
