SSP Industries is Hiring a Shop/Warehouse Administrator - Construction Near Killeen, TX

Job Duties:
The office administrator for construction warehouse will fulfill and process orders, supply chain processes, accept incoming shipments, and product delivery by tracking and reviewing invoices, shipment status, delivery route activity, and oversee the general organization of the warehouse. Supervisory Responsibilities: • None. Duties/Responsibilities: • Maintains an accurate running inventory. • Restocks supplies and inventory places blanket and special orders as needed. • Enters purchase order data in the inventory control system. • Accepts, verifies, inspects, and records all deliveries according to policy. • Records, reports, and returns defective items. • Processes invoices, supplying necessary data to accounting or other appropriate department for payment and recordkeeping. • Handles complaints related to shipments notifies supervisor of any shipping or receiving issues. • Collects, interprets, and analyzes various types of administration data including availability of product, reliability of transport and delivery, and other data related to product supply chain management, sourcing, and distribution. • Generate reports on warehouse activity as requested by upper management. • Investigate any incidents or accidents that occur in the warehouse and report findings to the appropriate parties. • Maintains databases of administration information. • Tracks product flow from origin to delivery via web-based administrative systems and other appropriate methods of monitoring inventory and shipment vehicles. • Reviews administration processes and procedures identifies, recommends, and implements improvements to maximize delivery efficiency while minimizing costs. • Reviews and analyzes transportation costs, parts procurement and delivery processes, inventory issues such as back orders, and other fulfillment metrics. • Uses analytic methods and tools to understand, predict, and/or control administrative operations and processes. • Monitors warehouse facilities to evaluate inventory transactions such as receiving, storage, shipping, and inventory integrity. • Always enforce all safety rules and regulations within the warehouse. • Train new employees on warehouse procedures and policies • Assist with the development and implementation of new warehouse processes and procedures. • Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area. • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities: • Proficient with inventory control systems. • Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures. • Extensive knowledge of shipping and distribution channels. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. • Excellent time management skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Supply Chain Management or related field required. Physical Requirements: • Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying. • Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time.
