Overview:

80 year old family owned Millwork & Door company seeking an experienced Commercial Door and Hardware Estimator to join our team. Detail-oriented relationship selling including inventory management and purchasing functions as well. This important division of our company inventories flush wood door slabs (4,000 ), focusing on quick-ship orders, selling specifically to Commercial Hardware Distributors primarily in the SE United States. In addition to our 100,000 sq ft millwork manufacturing plant, our Flush Door division has its own full machining and paint/stain facility and is able to perform an unlimited range of hardware preps including locks/hinges, resizing of doors, CVR's, lite cutouts, custom stains, etc. Our shop is certified by Warnock Hersey to machine fire rated doors.

Duties:

- Receive quote requests via email from Commercial Hardware Distributors, for flush wood doors, ranging in quantity from 1 to 100.

- Per the specifications on those quote requests, communicate with the customer regarding questions. Once satisfied, coordinate wood door estimates using quoting systems including Masonite DoorBuilder platform.

- As orders come in, create production tickets to fulfill those orders in our shop or send those orders to our suppliers to fulfill at their facilities if time allows.

- Using our in-house software system, monitor inventory levels, building and placing orders for doors and accessories (lite kits, louvers, wood frames, etc) with our suppliers.

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years experience in Commercial Door & Hardware industry.

- Division 8 knowledge.

- Computer/Software competency including Excel, MS Outlook/Office, ERP platforms, etc.

- Organized and timely communications. We sell STAT service, a sense of 'urgency' in how we communicate with our customers and suppliers is critical.

- Positive, constructive interpersonal skills with coworkers, customers and suppliers.
