Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team. As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of quality nursing care and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. You will lead a team of nurses and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

- Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff, ensuring the highest level of care is delivered
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory agencies
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Oversee the development and implementation of staff training programs
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and coaching as necessary
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient care, including care plans, progress notes, and medication administration records
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and resident rights
- Manage shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels at all times
- Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in nursing care

Skills:

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- In-depth knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and healthcare practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in documentation review and analysis
- Familiarity with Medicare regulations and reimbursement guidelines
- Experience in home care or long-term care settings is mandatory
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Pay: $90,000.00 - $97,000.00 per year
