We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated X-Ray Technician to join our team. As an X-Ray Technician, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions by operating X-ray equipment and producing high-quality images. Your compassion, attention to detail, and commitment to patient care are essential to our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform Diagnostic Imaging: Operate X-ray machines to capture images of patients' internal structures, including bones, organs, and tissues.
Positioning and Safety: Ensure patients are correctly positioned to obtain accurate images while adhering to safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure.
Patient Interaction: Provide clear and reassuring instructions to patients, answering any questions they may have and addressing concerns.
Image Quality: Monitor image quality to ensure clarity, contrast, and detail are optimal, and retake images if necessary.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on X-ray equipment, ensuring it is in proper working order and report any malfunctions for repairs.
Records and Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including patient information, procedures, and any special instructions.
Radiation Protection: Adhere to strict radiation safety and protection protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients, yourself, and others.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and assist with patient care decisions.
Continuing Education: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in radiologic technology and procedures through ongoing training and professional development.
