Electrical and Instrumentation Designer

Education: Associate of Science in Computer-Aided Drafting is preferred.
Experience: This position requires 3 years of Industrial experience.
Generally responsible for performing all aspects for complete design of complex electrical and instrumentation design assignments. Work will be performed on-site in the Memphis, TN area.
Seeking an experienced electrical and instrumentation designer to support ongoing multi-discipline projects. Responsibilities include initial design responsibilities through startup and commissioning.
· Must be fluent in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical software
· Must be familiar with:
o P&ID’s, motor elementary diagrams, single line diagrams, schematics, logic diagrams
o Power distribution (LV & MV)- 24vdc, 4-20mA, 120vac, 480vac, 4.16kV thru 12.47kV
o Cable, conduit and cable tray design, including application of cable sizing and voltage drop calculations
o Knowledge of industrial and electrical codes and standards
