Richland Glass Company is Hiring a Director of Quality Near Vineland, NJ

 
Role:
The responsibility of this position is to develop, manage and continually improve the quality management system of Richland Glass. It is a role that directly supports manufacturing in achieving final product quality requirements. The Director of Quality plays a pivotal role in the coordination between sales, manufacturing, and quality in achieving a right first-time approach to doing business. This individual will share in the responsibility of assuring the safety of our employees and be involved in the daily decisions related to quality, productivity, and technical issues to ensure the customer receives a quality product on time.
Environment:
•Manufacturing Plant & Office
•Can be very hot during certain seasons
Essential Job Functions:
•Interface with Sales, Engineering and Operations on the development of systems needed for the quality of new and existing products
•Provide regular support for our Quality Supervisors and Quality Technicians
•Takes a lead role in root cause analysis and corrective action for issues related to:
oCustomer complaints
oInternal quality failures
oSupplier related issues
•Manage the implementation and control of our gage measurement systems 
•Manages overall ISO 9001 Quality Management System 
•Provide required and regular Quality Training
•Manage and update our Drug Master File system
Abilities Needed to Perform Essential Functions:
•Diligence to manage time effectively
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Proficient in MS Word, Excel spreadsheets, Outlook, and SPC Techniques
Other Job Requirements:
•Adherence to health and safety regulations
•Strong attention to detail
Qualifications and Experience Required: 
•Must have at least 5 years direct QA experience
•Must have strong working knowledge of ISO 9001
Education Required:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or relevant field.
