About us:

Reuben’s Brews is a family brewery that opened in 2012. We brew from the glass backwards: designing each beer with intention, unbound by constraints. We know making the extra effort is worth it. From your everyday favorite beers to our innovative new releases, we help you grow your love of beer.

We are the most decorated brewery in Washington, have two brewhouses and tasting rooms, and we distribute our beer predominantly in the Pacific Northwest. In 2023 we brewed 27,000 BBLs.

Position summary:

This role will report to the COO / Integrator and has one primary goal: to ensure strong financial management of the brewery. The role requires managing our outsourced third-party accounting function, while focusing on the internal finance operations and continuously improving the company’s financial health. The successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Leadership, management and accountability
• Financial operations (AR, AP, pricing (internal and customer files), expenses, payroll processing, banking, management reporting and financial close)
• Continuously improve financial performance
• Business operations and back office (HR / procurement / logistics / IT / Legal / Insurance / Facilities management / Compliance (TTB, LCB, WA DOR etc.)

The successful applicant will be a member of the senior leadership team and work on projects assisting the strategic direction of the business. The role will also have two direct reports and be the key point of contact for our external bookkeeper.

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• MBA in business, management, accounting, finance, or work equivalent experience, CPA preferred
• Experience driving projects with multiple departments simultaneously
• Possess superior leadership skills, including personal values of empathy, integrity, and fairness
• Proficiency in ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Experience in the CPG sector with owned-manufacturing operations preferred
• EOS experience preferred
