Salary: $62,238 per year

Work schedule: Full-time, Days, Monday-Friday

Position summary: Responsible for providing Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training instruction to students in accordance with approved Nevada State Board of Nursing curricula. Along with providing students with basic direction, maintains clinical site relationship and supervises students during clinical rotation.

Essential responsibilities:

• Provide students with direction, instruction and assistance in designated areas of instruction.
• Motivate and counsel students in areas of behavior, training, personal problems, or study habits.
• Coordinate with counselors and staff as necessary to resolve issues affecting student training and/ or instruction.
• Develop and prepare lessons in accordance with approved curriculum guidelines, recommend curricula changes and supplemental materials.
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe training environment.
• Participate in student assessment panels, perform required documentation and evaluation using CIS (Center Information System) and other documentation systems.

Education and experience requirements:

• Must have an active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of Nevada.
• A a minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience is required.
• Experience working with youth (paid or volunteer) is needed.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer proficiency is essential.
• A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record is necessary.
