We are seeking an experienced Senior Title Insurance Underwriter to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This opportunity is with an independent title company that is in collaboration with a prominent real estate brokerage.
Responsibilities
•Process commitments, policies, and endorsements aligning with agency objectives
•Address customer inquiries promptly concerning status, rate quotes, title defects, exceptions, or general details
•Generate reports on a daily and monthly basis
•Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance agency profitability and efficiency
•Coordinate with attorneys and staff regarding orders
•Compile policies, commitments, and endorsements for distribution via mail and email
•Ensure accuracy in preparing CPLs
•Complete monthly remittances accurately
Qualifications
•Strong ability to collaborate effectively with team members, meet strict deadlines, efficiently manage workload, and uphold precise record-keeping
•Hold active licenses in both North Carolina and South Carolina
•Demonstrated background of a minimum of 2 years of underwriting experience
