Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School invites applications for qualified per diem substitute teachers. Located in Washington, DC and founded in 1799, Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School educates young women in grades 9 12 in a faith-centered community focused on educational excellence and rooted in the Roman Catholic faith and Salesian tradition.

Applicants must have a minimum of a four-year college degree, as well as enthusiasm for working with young women and colleagues. Prior teaching experience preferred.

Substitute teachers may be called on for daily needs between the hours of 7:45 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. Occasionally longer term assignments arise for consideration, depending on substitutes availability and qualifications. Reliability and timeliness are essential qualities. A background check and child protection training certification are required.
