Santa Fe Ob/Gyn is a small private practice in Santa Fe, NM. Our goal is to provide kind and compassionate care to every patient.

As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for the following duties:

- Providing exceptional patient service by assisting with patient check-in, check-out, and scheduling appointments.

- Utilizing medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.

- Delivering outstanding patient care by performing tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with in office procedures such as IUD insertions and colposcopy.

- Offering medical administrative support by maintaining patient records, handling insurance forms, and coding for billing purposes.

The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following skills:

- Strong patient care skills to ensure the well-being and comfort of patients during their medical visits.

-Ability to navigate the electronic health record and take patient history in order to update the health record. Assess patients for current concerns in a professional and helpful manner.

- Ability to take accurate vital signs and assist with medication administration as directed by healthcare providers.

-Ability to do injections of medication such as Rhogam and Depo Provera

-Ability to autoclave

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.67 - $21.12 per hour
