FOOD SERVICE ASSISTANT
SACO SCHOOL NUTRITION PROGRAM
C.K. BURNS SCHOOL
C.K. Burns School kitchen is looking for a Food Service Assistant to join our team, preparing and serving children nutritious and appealing meals! Prepare fruit and veggies, pack and unpack breakfast bins for breakfast in the classroom, serve lunch to children, assist with the Point of Sale system.

Qualifications:
- School foodservice experience preferred but not required
- Current State of Maine Criminal History Records Check
Knowledge/Skills:
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced work environment
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Positive, team-oriented attitude and excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- Ability to properly and safely operate kitchen equipment
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed
- Ability to assist with putting away weekly deliveries and rotate inventory
SCHOOL YEAR POSITION – 5 HRS PER DAY, 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
