Construction Administration (NH)

Rist-Frost-Shumway Engineering, P.C. (RFS), a growing 90 -person consulting engineering firm with offices in Laconia, NH, Boston, MA, and Portland, ME is seeking candidates to join our talented and team-focused staff.

RFS project types include college/university, healthcare, laboratory, private secondary school, public K-12 school, commercial, industrial, government, and historic preservation -- all with a focus on sustainable design.

Construction Administrator position requires substantial hands-on field experience with a knowledge of HVAC, plumbing/fire protection and/or electrical systems construction. Plus, a desire to work as part of a team with engineers, architects, contractors, and owners. Position entails receiving/reviewing Submittals and RFI’s, performing project site visits throughout project construction phases. Strong written and verbal skills are required, as well as the ability to read and understand construction drawings/prints. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as ability to navigate web-based construction management sites to interact with ongoing projects.
