The School District of South Milwaukee is seeking a Network/ PC/ Mac Technician to assist with integration, implementation and the maintaining of the technological needs of the students and staff in the School District of South Milwaukee in order to enhance teaching and learning.
The candidate must be well organized, resourceful, friendly and able to work with little supervision. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail. Able to communicate well with staff, students, and vendors regarding a broad scope of issues. Team player who can effectively interact with a variety of audiences. Exceptional human relations skills with the ability to handle tense, sometimes confidential situations with sensitivity and tact. Self-starter with the ability to establish and maintain exemplary relationships by using well-developed and appropriate interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain self-control in stressful situations without exhibiting negative behavior. Realize and maintain the confidentiality of data and student information.
Required Competencies Will Include

• Strong communication, collaboration, and customer service skills
• Strong knowledge of Mac OS versions, Windows versions, Android OS and appropriate application software in a network environment.
• Experience working with a Windows Server OS, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID.

Experience with Office 365 and Azure Active Directory is beneficial.

• Ability to monitor, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair software/hardware issues and complete the necessary follow­up steps in an educational environment.
• Create software images and packages and group policy.
• Experience with Cisco switching and wireless protocols is preferred.
• Experience with Google Apps and Chromebooks preferred.
