Job Description:
Responsibilities

• This position will process miscellaneous accounting duties, filing and support
• Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers
• Uses time effectively to meet deadlines
• Concentrates efforts on most important priorities
• Assist the billing department in billing and processing driver paperwork
• Make collection calls
• Will manage the aging report and ensuring it is kept at an acceptable level
• Process incoming and outgoing mail and shipping items
• Schedule: Mon-Fri 10am-6pm (no remote)

Job Requirements:
We are a local, family-owned transportation company in Greeley, CO. For over 30 years we have serviced our local community and national accounts with dignity and pride. We are currently looking for an experienced accounting/billing assistant who can work in a small office with a big-hearted staff. We need someone who can work with a team and independently as needed.
Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience
• Understands the transportation industry is a plus
• Has a can do attitude and take initiative
• Enjoy working hard and pursues everything with energy and has a drive and need to finish
• Has a strong ethic of accountability and dedication to the job
• Has functional and technical knowledge and skills to do the job at a high level of accomplishment
• Be a team member that is easy to approach and talk to-builds rapport well
• Strong computer skills, quick learner on new software
• Understands the needs of accuracy and timeliness accounting/billing needs of a small business environment.
