Red Barn Produce, Inc. is Hiring an Inventory Specialist Near Highland, NY

Inventory Specialist Position Available

This person must be reliable and pay attention to detail.

  • Reconcile entire inventory on a daily basis
  • Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure receiving, sales invoices, etc. have the correct product amount in stock
  • Make extensive corrections via software to aid in future ordering process
  • Review documentation and assess all vendor invoices if necessary
  • Make predictions on product whereabouts based on customer shorts and wrong picks
  • Create a sell list in excel on a daily basis for staff for correct picking and selling of items
  • Evaluate stock rotation, look for errors and notify management
  • Organize cooler stock to company standards on a daily basis
  • Locate stock that is potential waste, donation whilst performing inventory and notify management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • 1 years’ experience in inventory or related field
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent math and accounting skills
  • Ability to tolerate short periods of exposure to 34 Degree temperatures, working in warehouse and cold environment
  • Ability to lift over 50 pounds
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Non-slip work boot required

- Paid sick, personal, vacation, 401K all product available at cost to employees.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.37 - $24.53 per hour

Ability to Relocate:

  • Highland, NY 12528: Relocate before starting work (Required)
