The Sac and Fox Nation has an immediate opening for a full time position with BCBS Health, Vision and Dental Benefits. This position is responsible for supervising two accounting clerks and performing bookkeeping/accounting duties, and managing fiscal related documents in the department. Responsible for managing payroll via Paycom and related data entry in order to run payroll, to include printing of checks and distribution. Responsible for the daily data entry and billing for accounts receivable, process check requests, health assistance applications, travel requests, and receive payments for accounts receivable.

This position requires a high school diploma and some college courses in business and accounting, two (2) or more years of account receivable/payable experience, which has provided a good understanding of bookkeeping and accounting methods, procedures and techniques. Must have knowledge of computer accounting software. Must have a proven ability to understand, analyze, and interpret federal, state and local regulations. Must have knowledge of fund accounting and government grant reporting.

Must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Valid driver's license. Native American does apply. Working 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM Monday thru Thursday.
