Position Summary: The Driver position is responsible for transporting residents to weekly shopping trips and other community planned outings.

Essential Functions:

• Transport residents to and from the grocery store 2 days a week (Tuesdays & Thursdays)
• Assist residents load/unload grocery from the van
• Deliver all packages that originate from mail room
• Monthly community organized outings for residents
• May perform additional duties as assigned by Community Manager

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma/GED required
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required
• Prior driving experience preferred, but not required

Additional Requirements:

• To successfully fulfill the duties in this position, regular attendance is required
• Must have a valid New York State Driver’s License
• Must possess good communication skills
• Must be available to work additional hours occasionally

Describe Office/Work Environment: Work time is primarily spent in a vehicle and or delivering packages to various community buildings.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent sitting and driving
• Required to lift packages and/or office supplies, up to 50 pounds

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 8 per week
