STARTING PAY OF $19.00 PER HOUR PLUS DIFFERENTIALS

EVENING SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL $2.00 PER HOUR | MIDNIGHT SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL $2.50 PER HOUR | WEEKEND SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL $2.00 PER HOUR

What does a Direct Support Professional do?

* Support individuals to reach their full life potential

* Maintain quality of life with dignity and respect

* Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) and provide total care supports

* Encourage independence to the individual's capacity

* Serve as a positive role model to promote appropriate adult behavior

* Provide accurate documentation

* Adhere and implement Individual Support Plans

* Assure a safe, clean home environment upholding accreditation standards and regulations

* Team-player who can also work independently

* Maintain attendance according to the policy of the agency and position

Schedule and Work Location:

* Day Shift 6:45am - 3:15pm *Required to work every other weekend

* Hillsboro

Qualifications:

* High School diploma or GED

* Interpersonal communication skills

* Ability to follow oral and written directions and problem solve

* Ability to evacuate individuals served in the event of a fire, natural disaster, or another emergency

* Must be able to perform CPR and crisis intervention techniques, paid training provided.

* Light computer skills to include data entry and word processing

* Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds

* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

* Ability to be flexible to provide the needs of the individuals served
