The Position:
We are looking for Direct Support Professionals. The pay range is $15/hr. with the opportunity to earn up to $16/hr. with the longevity add-on! We offer insurance benefits to employees working an average of 30 hours per week, 401 (k) with company match and paid time off that accrues on both regular awake AND sleep shifts. We also provide scheduling flexibility and paid training.
Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older and possess a High School Diploma or GED and be able to pass a background check required by the Department of Developmental Disabilities. A current valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current car insurance with less than 5 points is a must. If you are not already, we will register you to become certified in First Aid/CPR and Medication Administration.
Responsibilities:
A DSP is responsible for assisting in activities of daily living, passing medication, accompanying individuals to doctor appointments, grocery shopping, cooking, performing light housekeeping duties, running errands, and providing companionship.
