We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Graphic Designer to join our growing creative team at REEF. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and deploying the visual ecosystem of our brand across all channels and platforms, with a focus on design for product marketing initiates and brand experience online and in-store. This role will exist within a nimble in-house creative agency and will require levels of communication, collaboration, and work ethic on par with the needed levels of creativity and technical proficiency. Experience building assets, campaigns, and experiences intended to drive commercial results whilst serving an authentic brand position is essential. The ideal candidate for this role will be an expert in layout design, able to drive both effectiveness and efficiency. We're looking for someone with experience in both digital and print who cares as much about detail as big ideas. As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will lead design projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior designers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, on-brand visual assets. Peripheral talent in illustration, copywriting, logo design, animation, editing, 3D modeling, or AI utilization would certainly be welcome. This role would report into the Digital Creative Director.
Responsibilities:

• Lead the conceptualization and execution of design projects across various channels, with a focus on digital and social but occasionally including print and packaging.
• Develop and maintain the visual brand identity, ensuring consistency and cohesiveness across all touchpoints.
• Collaborate with marketing, growth, product design, and other teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Create visually stunning and effective designs that align with brand guidelines and business goals.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative team environment.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a brand-first eCommerce or retail environment
• A strong portfolio demonstrative of dynamic photographic and typographic spatial compositions
• A strong portfolio demonstrative of both creative thinking and design fundamentals including use of grid, color, and contrast to maximize visual impact or communication
• An appreciation for footwear, fashion, or surf culture preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related discipline.
• Proficient in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Strong understanding of branding, layout, color theory, and typography.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to be work in-office Tuesday-Thursday
• Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide other creatives.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $95,000. The final offer amount will be determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise, and impacted area, and may vary from the amount above. This range also does not represent additional compensation benefits.
