Residential Solar Project Installer
Our client is hiring highly motivated and successful solar installation professionals
Overview:
The Solar Installer works with with the installation team assisting in the completion of residential rooftop solar systems.
Our Expectations:
You should be comfortable and have experience loading/unloading equipment, working from ladders roofs, and structures of varying heights, and using hand tools to install L- feet, flashing and solar modules.
You must be willing to and capable of working indoor/outdoor year-round in all weather conditions
You must be capable and willing to work in attics, crawl spaces, basements, and a variety of roof heights and pitches
Your work hours will vary depending on scope of work, complexity and location
You must be comfortable ,experienced and capable of reading and understanding construction plans and documentation
Your Day to Day Duties:
Install solar equipment in a professional respectful manner
Follow company guidelines and standards as well as local, state and federal codes
Work independently and as a team member
Maintain a neat, clean professional appearance at all times
Must keep a clean driving record at all times
Insure work truck and tools are maintained, organized and clean at all times
Report all vehicle issues to the Fleet Manager
Keep a clean, safe work site and observe all safety guidelines and OSHA regulations
Complete all required documentation, including pictures and reports, and upload daily
Perform installations including rooftop/ and or ground mounted installations
& PV arrays
Perform construction of ground mount structure and rail system
Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Your Qualifications:
18 years of age
Must be team oriented
Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
Construction experience preferred
Six months of PV experience and be familiar with NEC requirements related to PV installs is ideal
Familiar with, and possession of, basic hand and power tools commonly used in solar work
Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the install
Familiar with OSHA standards and fall prevention/ OSHA 10 hour Certification
