Independent Lung Associates, PA in Melbourne, FL is a very fast paced office and looking for staff to join our 25-person strong team. Previous experience with obtaining authorizations and verifying benefits is preferred. We have multiple offices in Brevard County, but you will be located on 1314 Oak Street in Melbourne FL. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and hard-working.

We are seeking a prior authorizations individual to add to our well-established authorization team.

Qualifications:

• Mastery on navigating insurances as well as helping patients obtain authorization for, but not limited to CT scans, PET scans, and Sleep studies for our in-house sleep lab.
• Authorizations for specialist referrals.
• Candidate must be well versed in obtaining routine authorizations, stat authorizations, and multi-visit appointment authorizations.
• Must have familiarity with what to do with authorization denials and pathways to submit for, check up on and confirm approvals.
• Arrange and maintain patient appointments for our sleep lab.
• Candidate must be 100% reliable and dependable. Candidate must be upbeat and energetic and work well with the rest of the ILA team.
• Good, friendly and professional rapport with patients, providers and co-workers.
