This is a Full-Time role that does require a flexible schedule with an ability to take last-minute shifts, strong interpersonal skills, ability to connect and build trust with clients and caregivers, and a coaching mentality. Must have at least two-years of professional caregiving experience.

Responsibilities and Duties
In this role, you will have the chance to perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, which include (but are not limited to):
  • Conduct 1st Shift Introductions of new caregivers, and existing caregivers with new clients and existing clients that caregivers have not provided care to before.
  • Conduct shadow shifts with caregivers needing additional training and support to create efficiencies, enhance safety and build skill competencies in care.
  • Complete ongoing Touchpoints with caregivers through in-person visits and phone check-ins to build rapport with staff, increase communication, support retention of staff, and ensure appropriate care delivery to clients.
  • Serve as a proctor for ongoing education of staff needing to complete new hire and annual education requirements.
  • Provide care to new clients that may need to start care on short notice, while waiting for other caregivers to be scheduled to regular shifts with the new client.
  • Provide care to clients to cover short notice call-outs of other caregivers.
  • Provide care to any client acuity level under the agency's scope of care.
  • Maintains good communication with the office staff on caregiver and client care needs to support the overall delivery of exceptional client and caregiver experiences.
  • Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home
  • Performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom
  • Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions
  • Accompanying client on errands or medical appointments
  • Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving
  • Medication reminders
  • Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
  • Dementia care
  • Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to take last-minute shifts
  • Minimum of two years of professional caregiving experience
  • Demonstrates leadership skills, willingness to take the lead
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to connect and build trust with clients and caregivers
  • Embodies a mentor's supportive nature an coaching mentality
  • High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
  • Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
  • Pass a background check
  • Valid CPR Certification
  • CNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred
