Production Systems Automation is Hiring an Electrical Technician Near Duryea, PA

Essential Job Functions

  • Be part of a customer oriented and profit minded service team
  • Troubleshoot electric and mechanical machine (Servos drive, PLC controls, etc…)
  • Perform on site repairs, preventative maintenance service and operator training
  • Cooperate with other service technicians and subcontractors
  • Help manage in-house rebuilds and repairs at our facility
  • Process and manage expense reports, job reports and return receipts in a timely manner

Essential Job Requirements

  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience in electrical and mechanical machine-tool service
  • Must be able to read and work with electrical schematics and assembly drawings
  • Understanding of machine tool guide ways, slide and spindle motors
  • Proficient knowledge of servo drive, PLC controls and general machine tool electronics
  • Proficient computer skills and understanding of mobile device business applications
  • Must be in good physical shape and able to work in non-climate controlled areas
  • Must have good communication skills in working with customers and other employees
  • A valid driver’s license and safe driving history

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
