The Role
The Data Specialist role is a junior entry level role.
You will be a valuable team member ensuring that all the monthly data collected for our clients is captured, classified, normalized, and confirmed for accuracy. This ensures that the data entered into our systems is ready for analysis by our internal teams. It is essential that you become an expert in understanding the fees charged to merchants for processing credit card transactions and to gain the ability to understand and read monthly merchant statements and transaction reports. This will give you the ability to classify and normalize payment card data to ensure data consistency. You will work closely with internal teams, communicating and addressing needs timely to ensure key stakeholders are informed and deadlines are met.
