Prairie Maison is Hiring a Nutrition Services Aide Near Prairie, WI

Summary:

Prairie Maison, a subsidiary of Community Health Services, is looking for someone to help serve our residents during meal times. The dietary aide position is responsible for providing nourishing food to residents, guests and employees under sanitary conditions as directed and in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established polices.
  • Ensures the dining room is set up appropriately for all resident meals.
  • Process diet changes and new diets as received from Dietary Manager.
  • Properly identify each meal served according to resident diet and name.
  • Delivers food to residents and guests in a pleasant manner.
  • Food temperatures are to be recorded consistently on the appropriate form and action taken to achieve the proper temperature if not within established standards.
  • Foods are held to maintain appropriate temperature.
  • Make sure portions are served according to the extended menu and appropriate utensils are used.
  • Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies & procedures.
  • Dispose of refuse daily in accordance with established sanitation procedures.
  • Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
  • Assist in maintaining food storage areas in a clean and properly arranged manner at all times.
  • Ensures all areas of work station are cleaned, organized and re-stocked at the end of shift.
  • Keeps supervisor informed of supply needs & report malfunctions/breakdowns as soon as possible.
  • Performs all job responsibilities in accordance with prescribed safety and infection control procedures, including thorough hand washing, use of disposable gloves where indicated and proper disposal of soiled materials.
  • Knowledgeable of dietary procedures as well as related laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to nursing home dietary operations.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager.

Pay: $14.90 - $18.70 per hour

Expected hours: 29 – 32 per week
