PediPlace serves children who receive Medicaid and CHIP benefits, or who are uninsured.

Job Description: As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at PediPlace, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional healthcare to our young patients. You will work collaboratively with our team to provide comprehensive care and support to children from infancy through adolescence.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive physical assessments on pediatric patients.
• Diagnose and treat common pediatric illnesses and injuries.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.
• Develop and implement treatment plans.
• Provide patient education and counseling to families.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Stay current with advancements in pediatric healthcare.
• Scheduling will require you to work at one of our secondary locations in Denton.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Nursing with a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner specialization.
• Current state Nurse Practitioner licensure.
• Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification.
• CPR and BLS certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassion and empathy for pediatric patients and their families.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
