PBT is seeking a skilled Plant Maintenance Lube Technician to join our team. The Lube Technician will be responsible for conducting regular maintenance on industrial plant equipment, ensuring smooth operation and minimizing downtime. Key responsibilities include:

1. Lubrication

Applying lubricants to machinery components, including bearings, gears, chains, rollers, etc.

Ensuring proper lubrication schedules are followed to prevent wear and enhance equipment performance.

2. Fluid Management

Checking and topping off fluids such as hydraulic oil, coolant, and gear oil.

Monitoring fluid levels to prevent overheating and maintain optimal functionality.

3. Inspections

Inspecting equipment for leaks, signs of wear and potential issues.

Identifying and addressing any abnormalities promptly.

4. Filter Replacement

Replacing filters (e.g., oil filters, air filters) as needed to maintain equipment efficiency.

5. Preventative Maintenance

Collaborating with maintenance teams to execute scheduled maintenance tasks.

Following established procedures to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.

6. Record Keeping

Documenting maintenance activities, including lubrication schedules, filter changes and inspections.

Maintaining accurate records for compliance and future reference.

Some documentation may be kept in Upkeep system.

Qualifications:

Mechanical Aptitude: Understanding of industrial machinery and equipment.

Attention to Detail: Thoroughness in lubrication processes and inspections.

Safety Awareness: Adherence to safety protocols while working with machinery.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose issues and recommend solutions.

Team Player: Collaborating effectively with maintenance teams.
