- Move inventory and materials throughout the store/warehouse
- Handle delicate and sensitive products with utmost care
- Process inventory for deliveries/pickups
- Sort, organize, and store inventory in the proper location
- Package items and label them correctly
- Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors
- Stack and organize large bulk items
- Handle and operate necessary tools and accessories in maintaining and managing a warehouse
- Remove inventory from trucks for shipping and/or delivery
- Move materials from storage to pickup area or other locations
- Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards
- Keep warehouse premises neat and clean
- Work as an active team member to complete team goals
- Close pickups in a timely fashion
- Update logs and documentation for inventory processing
- Assist in organizing and maintaining up-to-date records of inventory
- Prepare documentation and inventory for audits
- Integrate best practices in handling warehouse materials
- Rides with delivery drivers and helps unload material from truck and put it in houses.
- Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift
- Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds or more
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently
- Close attention to detail and monitors quality/quantity of inventory
- Highly organized and able to store items efficiently
- Must follow all health and safety procedures and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state.
