PlastiCycle Corp. is Hiring a Forklift Operator Near Franklin, KY
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in materials handling and operating forklifts.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move materials within the warehouse
- Load and unload trucks with incoming and outgoing shipments
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues
- Assist in inventory control by accurately recording movement of goods
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
Skills:
- Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot forklift machinery
- Proficiency in materials handling techniques
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and order picking
- Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a warehouse supervisor
- Familiarity with order picking processes and shipping receiving operations
