Pinewood is based on the idea of creating a social gathering “third space” that can accommodate guests’ needs morning, noon, and night. The dynamic restaurant offers Americana fare expanded into four menus: breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner, paired with a bar program offering everything from draft beers to craft cocktails to a selection of wines by the glass and bottle.

The Reservationist will be responsible for managing guest inquiries and reservations for Pinewood Social. They will provide detailed information about the venue, answer questions about local areas, and ensure a smooth booking process. The Reservationist will work closely with the Sales and Event Management Team to coordinate and maximize the flow of the space. This position requires excellent communication skills and customer service experience.

Reports to: Director of Sales and Guest Experiences

Responsibilities:

· Handle all inbound calls, specializing in large party requests of 9

· Manage voicemails by listening and responding promptly

· Manage the booking flow of the restaurant and bowling alley to maximize the space

· Engage with guests to answer all questions regarding reservations and experiences

· Communicate daily with Sales and Event Management Team for reservation summary reporting and lead generation opportunities

· Generate daily reservation reports including incoming guests, reservation requests, special occasions, and guest reservation notes

· Work with the manager on duty to plan and prepare for incoming reservations

· Provide daily reporting of incoming guest reviews to the Director of Sales & Guest Experience

· Other duties as assigned

Required skills/ abilities:

· Strong desire to cater to the needs of others in a fast-paced environment

· Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

· Proficient in reservation management technology

· Able to handle a high volume of calls

· Customer service experience required

Education and Experience:

• 2 years in hospitality
• 1 years of experience in similar position.
• Advanced knowledge of food profession principles and practices.
• Excellent communication skills, fluency in English required; Spanish is a plus
• Ability to meet deadlines.

Physical Requirements

· Prolonged periods of standing and walking

· Able to carry and lift up to 25lbs

· Periodically required to work outdoors

Expected Hours of Work:

· Here at Pinewood, we strive to give every team member a proper work/life balance. Typical work weeks are 5 days a week at 9 hours each day. However, due to the nature of the hospitality industry, team members are required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the restaurant

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
