Basic Job Functions :

This position is responsible for planning and scheduling all predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance to include down days and outages.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to ensuring safety needs are given priority; utilizing the current work order system;

maintaining work order backlog, procedures and lockout instructions, and special equipment or tools needed; verifying availability and staging of parts, materials, tools, etc.

also expected to be working on maintenance items and projects during scheduled downtime; coordinating the procurement of replacement parts, tools, and spare parts;

This position will interact with contractors, vendors, teams, and other departments. This position may work scheduled / unscheduled overtime including nights, holidays and weekends.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Able to work nights, weekends, holidays as needed.
• Proficient working in a CMMS system

Preferred Qualifications :

• Knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical maintenance and equipment.
• CAD experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word
• Highly organized
• Engineering degree
